What is arturo guzmán decena?

Arturo Guzmán Decena was a Mexican drug lord and the co-founder of the infamous drug trafficking organization known as the Los Zetas cartel. Guzmán Decena was born on January 13, 1976, in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

He initially worked as a police officer in the Mexican military, where he received training in special forces tactics. Guzmán Decena then joined the Gulf Cartel, where he became close to its leader, Osiel Cárdenas Guillén.

In 1997, Guzmán Decena, along with other former military personnel, split from the Gulf Cartel and formed the Los Zetas cartel, which quickly grew to become one of the most violent and powerful criminal organizations in Mexico. Guzmán Decena was known for his brutal tactics, which included decapitating his rivals and leaving their bodies in public places as a warning.

However, Guzmán Decena's reign as the leader of the Los Zetas cartel was short-lived, as he was killed in a shootout with Mexican security forces in 2002. Despite his death, the Los Zetas cartel continued to operate and remains a dominant force in the Mexican drug trade.
